AM: Class 1 Week 5

Week 5, already half way through class 1, CRAZY!!! The time at AM has been flying by. I've been learning so much and meeting some great people along the way.

So for week 5 we learned about Anticipation annnnnnnd..... Squash & Stretch.

The foundation of anticipation: squash & stretch. The material of an object influences the amount of squash and stretch. The amount of anticipation will determine the expected speed of the movement. The more anticipation there is, the more cartoony it feels.

PUSH IT! It's always easier to push an action too far at first, and then scale back the action later. But be careful not to over-anticipate.

How much? The amount of anticipation all depends on the style that you are going for and the situation your character is in.

Here is my work for week 5. The dreaded Obstacle Course! Oh how this kept me up late all week! And finally, another pose. This week, Devastation.
