AM: Class 1 Week 9


Week 9 we worked on polishing our vanilla walk and a concern pose. Week 9 was about exaggeration and weight. Remember to exaggerate your poses. It's ok to use reference, but don't just trace over it. Use the reference and PUSH IT! Exaggeration keeps it interesting. By adding your own personal touch to the animation you will help keep the audience's focus.

Not only can you exaggerate your timing by holding poses longer, adding pauses, etc. you can also exaggerate your ideas. Be creative, exaggerate the personality! But be careful not to go to far or you will lose the audience. The character has to be believable. You want the audience to believe and lose themselves in the moment.
